Built on experience.
Driven by purpose.
ReCharged began in 2016 with a purpose: connect people with economic opportunity, useful technology, essential services and their communities.
Physical infrastructure was one way to bring that purpose into shared spaces. The photographs here document authentic earlier development and demonstrations, rather than renderings of a future product.

Hardware, software and a public-facing idea.
ReCharged developed hardware concepts and prototypes, explored municipal partnerships and pursued an advertising-supported infrastructure model. Interactive demonstrations brought together public information, local services, connectivity and digital media, alongside the original EV charging vision.
The physical prototype and its software explored how people could use a shared interface. Demonstration screens included public-service menus and advertising content; they were part of development work, not proof of a commercially deployed network.

These are historical prototype and demonstration photographs, not current commercial deployments. Visible logos, advertising and display claims do not establish brand partnerships, endorsements or verified performance results.
Returning to the purpose.
Reconsidering the model.
Operations largely ceased around 2019. The renewed direction draws on the earlier experience while exploring a commercially sustainable model for today's technological and economic opportunities.
The leading proposed application is accessible paid digital work, initially exploring AI training, evaluation and related human-contribution tasks from authorized providers. Personal devices could provide direct access, with sponsored devices, public computers and modular infrastructure extending participation.
Kiosks, connected bollards and EV-enabled hubs remain possible configurations, with energy capabilities assessed where appropriate. Digital-work validation and infrastructure exploration can proceed on separate timelines.
